The Institute for the Research of Communism and the South Korean Institute for National Security Strategy signed a bilateral agreement on Thursday. The application for the scholarship program, starting during the course of spring 2025, will be opened for South Korean and Hungarian professionals.
The two institutions have agreed to tighten their cooperation in spring 2024. The primary goal of the partnership is to strengthen the connection between the anti-communist and freedom-loving Hungarian and South Korean nations, to cherish the already existing positive relationship and to deepen the academic ties between the two research institutions.
The parties have agreed to launch a fellowship program in 2025, in which one Hungarian and one Korean research fellow will be able to undertake research projects with the assistance of the Institute for the Research of Communism and the South Korean Institute for National Security Strategy. The duration of the fellowship was agreed to be four weeks.
